I have been working on some more functional pieces for my collage motifs. My aim is to incorporate my art pieces into items that people can use as well as look at and enjoy.

Full description
Approximately A5 sized this notebook has been designed as a project workbook to assist the user in planning,designing and recording their projects. It has five hand stitched book blocks three alternating lined and plain pages and two alternating graph and plain pages. Plain paper for drawing, lined paper for notes and graph paper for technical details. In addition there are two small hand folded envelopes secured in the binding to hold loose materials e.g. fabric swatches, templates etc.
The book blocks are hand stitched into the cover using a Japanese bookbinding technique.
The book is very versatile and could also be used as a small journal, scrap book, notebook etc. and will make a great gift for anyone who loves crafting, writing or collecting images and memories.
There are 40 A5 pages (80 sides) and two hand folded envelopes (9.5cm x 9.5cm approx).
The paper and cover corners are rounded and the cover is decorated with a hand pieced collage motif using plain and hand patterned paper.
