Full description
An ideal gift for any lover of handmade items, flowers or pottery.
These ceramic flower stems are sold individually. If you'd prefer a particular flower colour, please select the option. Other colours are also available, please see my other flower listings.
(Numbers on photos correspond with options in dropdown.)
These pretty ceramic flowers are made from stoneware clay and glazed top and bottom for an all round display. I've used copper wire to thread the stems. The flower centres have a range of coloured beads that compliments and contrasts with the flower petals.
Being handmade, each flower I make differs slightly, none are ever identical.
Flower diameter is approx 3.5cm. Length varies from approx 18- 20cm. You can easily cut or bend the bottom of the wire yourself to alter the length for your own arrangements. Wrapping the wire around something like a lipstick tube is fun to make a twirly stem.
I've made a small loop at the bottom of each wire so there's no sharp ends. The copper wire will tarnish/darken over time. This adds to the natural and unique appearance of these flowers, but you can polish them if preferred.
Did you know?
Pottery is the traditional gift for a 9th wedding anniversary - these flowers would make a very pretty anniversary gift.
