Full description
Handmade crochet baby blanket, in 100% lambswool - the same yarn I weave with, so it is very fine and takes a long time to build up, therefore is very labour intensive. It also means it's very soft to the touch!
A central pattern of granny squares in a mix of white, blues and purples, all joined together and then the colours used around the edge to extend the fabric. I like to think this blanket is gender neutral in the use of colour and therefore would be a suitable in any home.
I choose to exclusively use lambswool yarn for all my baby blankets because the fibre is so versatile, it keeps you warm when it's cold, and cool when it's warm, is fire retardant, lasts longer than other fibres and is sustainable - you can see images of my previous baby blankets on my Instagram.
Care instructions will be provided, but please be aware I do recommend hand washing in warm water, and air drying is essential. However, it can go in a washing machine, ideally in a laundry bag, and put on a wool or delicate cycle.
