Full description
This scarf is handwoven in soft lambswool yarn, the warp is a mix of a pale lavender and light blue, and the weft is an off-white with a lurex yarn; lurex is a shiny/sparkly plastic yarn. This does mean that although the scarf is very soft it also has a very slightly scratchy feel to it, a small price to pay for a sparkly scarf.
The woven structure has created a large scale wavy zig-zag running down the length of the scarf.
Because of the colours used this scarf was not easy to photograph to show the colours, however the first two pictures are the best representation of the colour.
Entirely handmade, starting as yarn on cones, being made into the warp, put onto my table loom and woven, then hemstitched, tassels twisted, washed, trimmed, label stitched on and pressed.

Please note that the length measurement includes the tassels at either end.
As long as it is taken care of this scarf will last for a very long time which further contributes to it being sustainable.
