Full description
An ideal Valentine’s or Mother’s Day gift or for any lover of handmade items, pink, flowers or pottery. Unlike the real thing, these ceramic flowers will continue to bloom, long after purchase!
Flower stems are sold individually - multiple stems are discounted. Please select your colour choice/s from the options. Other colours are also available (please see my other ceramic flower listings).
I make these flowers from stoneware clay. They’re glazed on both sides for an all round display and I've used copper wire to thread the stems. You can easily cut or bend the wire to make your own arrangements. Wrapping the wire around something round, like a pen or your finger is a good way to make a twirly stem. I’ve wired the flower centres with small beads to compliment the flower colour.
Being handmade, each flower I make differs slightly, none are ever identical.
Flower diameter is approx 3.5cm.
Overall length approx 20-24cm.
I've made a small loop at the bottom of each wire to minimise sharp ends. The copper wire will tarnish/darken over time. This adds to the natural and unique appearance of these flowers - you can polish them if preferred.
Did you know?
Pottery is the traditional gift for a 9th wedding anniversary - these flowers would make a very pretty anniversary gift.
Postage:
I despatch via Royal Mail 48 tracked, usually 1-2 working days from order, unless I have any queries. Please message me if you’re in a rush.
