Full description

A lap quilt ideal for winter warmth, crafted in the traditional railroad design. Are you or someone you know likely to lose the winter fuel allowance? Then this would be of ideal assistance. It measures 71cm by 93cm making it suitable for over the knees or round the shoulders. It features a palette of browns and golds with a contrasting white and brown paisley pattern. The backing is made from the same brown fabric used on the front. Uniquely, I have opted for acrylic wadding for its lightweight and warmth, despite it being an unusual choice for me. The railroad design is achieved through the use of fabric strips arranged to create a stepped pattern across the quilt. Ideal for a lap or wheelchair quilt it is also suitable for a cot or pram quilt.
