Full description

A handstamped spoon with the Shakespeare quote 'With mirth & laughter let old wrinkles come' around the edge. A perfect gift for a pensioner with a sense of humour!

This listing is for ONE vintage silver-plated (EPNS) fruit or dessertspoon approx. 5.5" (14cm) long. It has a round bowl and a plain handle with lovely original engraved decoration in the bowl. You will receive the item shown in the photographs. The lettering is coloured black with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink. Not dishwasher proof so please wash carefully by hand. The lettering may still fade with time but the letters themselves are stamped into the metal so they won't go anywhere.

Please do study the photos carefully as this is an antique item that has been upcycled so it does have wear marks in the plating, particularly on the back.
