CHRISTMAS 2024: Please order in plenty of time for the festive period. Royal Mail advises the last dates for posting will be 21st December for the U.K. (Royal Mail Tracked 24) and the end of November for International. I will continue posting after these dates, but there will be less chance of the artwork arriving by Christmas if ordered after these dates.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout.
Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(60) I've called this original piece, "The Restless Heart of the Sea". The work has been inspired by trips to the coast in all weathers to feel the energy of the elements and breathe in the fresh air. This would make an ideal gift for any occasion.

Full description
This colourful painting of the coast is ready to hang. In this landscape we see a rough sea lashing against the coastline. The sky has been painted with sweeping brush strokes, blending the colours as I go. The cliffs in the distance and foreground have been painted with a knife and various mark-making tools. The sea has been painted with quick, sharp brush strokes to give a sense of energy and power.
Transform any space with this study of colour, light and movement. This original painting can act as a unique focal point to allow your thoughts to drift amongst the swell of the sea.
