I love granulation, both the process of making the little balls from small pieces of silver that could be left unused for years, as well as the overall look once the balls are soldered together. it's a very therapeutic activity. It's also great to be using ancient techniques that jewellers have been using for centuries.

Full description
This cute granulation necklace has been made in silver and then been plated in 22 carat yellow gold. Each ball has been individually made from recycled silver and then soldered together to create the irregular ball shape
The ball pendant hangs on a sterling silver trace chain, and the fastening is a handmade S-hook, both 22 carat gold plated.
This necklace works well layered and worn with other longer necklaces or equally on its own.
Size of the ball: 1cm half an inch in length and width
Length of necklace: 43 cms17 inches
