CHRISTMAS 2024: Please order in plenty of time for the festive period. Royal Mail advises the last dates for posting will be 21st December for the U.K. (Royal Mail Tracked 24) and the end of November for International. I will continue posting after these dates, but there will be less chance of the artwork arriving by Christmas if ordered after these dates.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout.
Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.

The message within this art work is that although wildflowers seem small and fragile, they are resilient and keep going - much like ourselves, especially when the going gets tough. Spotting these wonderful flowers can remind us of special moments in our lives and the special places we have visited. This would make an ideal gift for any occasion.

Full description
This acrylic painting is a feast of wild grasses and flowers set against a backdrop of clear blue skies and rolling hills. Each tiny flower is unique and thrives in its habitat waiting for the day when they will release their seeds to the winds to germinate elsewhere. I have applied numerous thick layers of paint in the background to depict that ruggedness of the landscape. By way of contrast, I have used a number of fine paintbrushes to outline the wildflowers and grasses.
Some of the key features include:
- This is an original, one-off, acrylic painting on sealed cradled panel board.
- The art work has been varnished and is presented in a contemporary wooden framed.
- It is ready to hang or can be free standing.
- Total size is 33 x 26 x 3 cms.
- I have signed the painting at the back.
- Also included is a note of authentication.
This framed, Scottish landscape featuring wildflowers, will be posted out by first class Royal Mail. The painting will be covered with glassine paper before it is carefully encased in bubble wrap (or equivalent). It will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box.
If sold, 50% of the price will go on buying essential dog equipment that will be donated to the Guide Dogs For The Blind Association.
