The birthstones for October and Libra are Opal and Tourmaline.
Here I have used nuggets of Pink 0pal with beads of faceted Pink and Black Tourmaline.
Pink Opal is a variety of common Opal, composed of Opal, Palygorskite and Chalcedony.
The Opal gives a soft lustre, Palygorskite gives the pink colour and Chalcedony adds patterns of white, grey and black.
Tourmaline comes in a range of colours, and I have selected beads of pink and black.
I have also used beads of Rose Quartz, sacred to Venus, Libra's planetary ruler.

Full description
A trio of rough-cut Pink Opal nuggets, separated by 2mm faceted Pink Tourmaline and flanked by 3.5mm faceted Black and Pink Tourmaline form the centrepiece of this dainty bracelet.
The remainder of the circle is formed from rows of five 4mm Rose Quartz, separated by 2mm faceted Black Tourmaline.
The Pink Opal nuggets are approximately 5x8mm in size, roughly oval shaped, but differ slightly in size, shape and colour, as they are natural nuggets, and contain natural inclusions of black Chalcedony.
The faceted Tourmaline beads add a subtle glint when they catch the light.
This stretch bracelet measures approximately 6.5 inches (16.5cm), and is a snug fit on my 6 inch (15cm) wrist.
Your bracelet will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
