I cut and polish my own fordite, surfite and bowlerite, I'm happy to take commissions.

Full description
These stud earrings feature discs of Cornish surfite which has been bezel set in sterling silver and finished off with silver posts and scrolls. The surfite has broad pastel strips of aqua blue and minty green with a little lilac and gold at the edges. These studs measure about 13mm across making them quite a eye catching but surfite is lightweight so they won't be heavy in your lobes (they are about 3mm thick excluding the length of the posts). Comes gift boxed.
Surfite is a build up of cured resin that forms during surfboard manufacture making these earrings a great gift for a surfer. I cut this particular material myself (by hand because I couldn't find a band saw big enough!!!) and you can see the original block and a work in progress shot in the photos (the rough isn't included), the rough material came from Toy Factory Surfboards in Newquay, Cornwall. Love the idea of surfite but want something else then drop me a message - I've got plenty of the rough left!
