The various elements of this necklace seemed to just come together in a very natural way, and it's always very satisfying when that happens. Little details help to make this piece rather special, like the triangular beaded bail and the variegated colours of turquoise, cream and terracotta in the faux imperial jade circles. The turquoise shades of the shell circles and turquoise rondelles help to complement the howlite heart.

Full description
A really substantial turquoise howlite heart has pride of place in this necklace/pendant. I wanted to do this beautiful heart justice, so I have made a triangular bail using herringbone and peyote stitches to attach it to the rest of the necklace. The complementary colours and textures in the necklace feature turquoise crystal rondelles, faux imperial jade circles, turquoise shell circles and smoky 4mm crystal rondelles. The beads are all strung on 49 strand beading wire, which has a lovely flexible feel to it. There are wire guardians at each end to protect the wire and the necklace fastens with lobster clasp, which also has a heart detail. There is also a 6cm extender chain if you need extra length.

The necklace measures 18.5 inches or 48cm
