Full description

Little silver plated elephant spacers form a parade in this lovely necklace. Tibetan silver beads and small silver plated beads are combined with reconstituted Turquoise in different shaped beads, including a focal teardrop bead. The classic colours of silver and turquoise work well together and this is an easy to wear necklace that fastens with a simple Tibetan silver hook clasp. As mentioned, the turquoise beads used are reconstituted, which means that they are made from turquoise that has been crushed to a powder, then mixed with resin and made into beads. Real turquoise is becoming much scarcer, so this method of producing beads enables a little to go a long way. The ancient Egyptians used a similar technique 4000 years ago.

The necklace is 18.5 inches in length and the focal teardrop bead is 1 inch in length.

There is a matching bracelet and earrings, available separately, to accompany this necklace.

This necklace will come to you lovingly packaged in tissue paper and a Sandra Wood handmade cotton bag and will be sent Royal Mail First Class in a 100% recyclable cardboard box.
