My collection started as a child with an old button box and some vintage embroidery threads given to me by my late grandmother. Over the years I have collected many vintage and retro items (note I only cut into pieces that are too damaged or marked to be used in their original form) as well as a whole sewing room full of bits and pieces.
I decided I would use some of this collection to create curated boxes for the newly re-discovered art of slow stitching. Get yourself a cup of tea, and relax with a needle and thread.

A summer wedding inspired slow stitching kit - this includes silks and lace from family weddings down the generations. The starting point for this bundle is the cerise pink and a gauzy cream bridal lace - with accents of peach, green and gold picked up from the floral prints.

I've chosen a number of vintage, antique and salvaged items from my collection to add a rich variety of textures and patterns, in a gorgeous cooler palette to cool that hot pink down.
