This Ogham rune pendant is the Ifn symbol and is associated with the gooseberry plant. Gooseberry symbolises protection and nourishment, reflecting the caring nature of this character.
Ogham is an early medieval alphabet used primarily to write the early Irish language. Each Ogham corresponds with a tree and can have various metaphorical and spiritual meanings.
Every Ogham rune pendant I make is different and never repeated. This Ifn measures 3.5cm tall, 1.8cm wide and approx 6mm deep. It's made from clay (ceramic) and fired to stoneware. The pendant is fitted with 2 rings and comes with a choice of necklace material and necklace length. This particular rune pendant has a rustic finish with blue and green tones.
