I used to make these with bottle caps inserted instead of the images. I can still do that design, but I find these so much more personal.

Full description

How about a laser-engraved woodland animal bottle opener? Using our barrel oak as a backing, these openers are quite uneak. If you want your own logo, design, or slogan, please let me know. I am happy to do any design at no extra cost.

Is this purchase a gift? We send out a free certificate with each order about the history of the whisky barrel.

At Rustic Badger UpCycle, we believe that every oak barrel has a story. And we’re here to give them a beautiful next chapter.

Commonly asked questions?

"What's the black on the back of the wood?"

When the barrels are first made by the coopers they burn the inside of the barrels. This charing gives the whiskey its flavor.

"What are the strange notches on the wood end?"

On the end of each oak stave you might see the shape of the wood is different. These notches are cut into the wood which held onto the barrel lid

"What is a stave?"

Stave is the name given to each bit of wood used to make the barrel
