When I first created these earrings, I wanted to make a range of earrings that would be a staple to match with any outfit. The earrings are designed to look good with everyday and smart clothes - making them a staple piece of jewellery. I prefer to use sterling silver, as it is less likely to cause irritation to ears, but they will also last! The sterling silver findings and wire are made from recycled silver in the UK - I try to use as many UK based suppliers as I can.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Amethyst and sterling silver drop earrings. Sterling silver wire wraps around beautiful natural Amethyst beads. Striking natural purple colour. The understated sterling silver French ear wires perfect the look of these elegant earrings. The earrings would complement both casual and smart attire. Amethyst is the traditional birthstone for February and the stone of Saint Valentine.

AMETHYST
Amethyst has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty and legendary powers to stimulate, and soothe, the mind and emotions. It is a semi-precious stone in today’s classifications, but to the ancients it was a “Gem of Fire,” at times in history, valued as much as diamonds. Amethyst has a long association with February, the month the Romans dedicated to Neptune, their water-God, and is the traditional birthstone of that month.
