The inspiration for this line of my necklaces came from birds nests, especially black bird's nests. The 3 gemstones in the centre of the silver nest resemble birds eggs.
When I first created this necklace, I wanted to make a range of necklaces that would be staple to match with any outfit. The necklace is designed to look good with everyday and smart clothes, making it a staple piece of jewellery. The sterling silver findings are made from recycled silver in the UK. I try to use as many UK based suppliers as I can.

Moonstone Nest Necklace. Sterling silver wire wrapped around three beautiful natural moonstone beads. Striking natural light grey/ white colour with flashes of blue. The understated 24-inch sterling silver heavy curb chain perfects the look of this elegant necklace. This necklace perfects both casual and smart attire.

MOONSTONE:
Moonstone has been used in jewellery for nearly two thousand years, even longer in the Orient. It has always been a sacred stone in India with a special significance for lovers and is a traditional wedding gift. Moonstone is known as the Traveler's Stone for the protection it affords, especially at night, and because of its uplifting quality of hope.
Named for its moon-like sheen, Moonstone is a Feldspar mineral exhibiting a soft, watery opaqueness and a silvery-white reflection called chatoyancy that moves as a line across the surface as light varies.
