When I first created these earrings, I wanted to make a range of earrings that would be a staple to match with any outfit. The earrings are designed to look good with everyday and smart clothes - making them a staple piece of jewellery. I prefer to use sterling silver, as it is less likely to cause irritation to ears, but they will also last! The sterling silver findings and wire are made from recycled silver in the UK - I try to use as many UK based suppliers as I can.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Blue Flash Moonstone and Sterling Silver wire wrapped drop earrings. Sterling silver wire wraps around genuine AAA grade Blue Flash Moonstone beads. Striking natural colour. The understated sterling silver ear wires or studs perfect the look of these elegant earrings. This necklace would complement both casual and smart attire. Moonstone is an alternative birthstone for June.

MOONSTONE:
Moonstone has been used in jewellery for nearly two thousand years, even longer in the Orient. It has always been a sacred stone in India with a special significance for lovers and is a traditional wedding gift. Moonstone is known as the Traveler's Stone for the protection it affords, especially at night, and because of its uplifting quality of hope.
Named for its moon-like sheen, Moonstone is a Feldspar mineral exhibiting a soft, watery opaqueness and a silvery-white reflection called chatoyancy that moves as a line across the surface as light varies. Moonstone occurs in delicate shades of peach, blue, grey, white and a prismatic variety known as Rainbow Moonstone.
