The inspiration for the little horses is my Mothers Dala horse which she was given when she was a child. In turn she gave it to me when I was a little girl for my Sindy doll to trot around on ,as she was horseless..
Today the old Dala horse sits on my shelf along with a couple of others I have collected along the way.

I’m having a little clear out and letting a few things go that have been lurking around for too long.
This little fellow spent a year or so packed away in a box whilst I moved house and then hung around in the Nook of Nonsense (real shop unit now closed) for while.
There’s nothing really wrong with them other than a little shop tired.
I would like to clear the decks so I can start making some new ones

Moondance the Little hand embroidered horse belongs in my soft sculpture collection.
He is totally hand stitched by me using various embroidery techniques, making him completely unique.
Moondance's body is made from cream and grey wool felt and is lovingly filled with Hi-loft polyester stuffing.
I mainly use vintage Anchor and DMC embroidery threads as I was very fortunate to find a massive hoard many moons ago.
He stands approximately 16cm tall and measures approximately 13.5cm from nose to tail.
Moondance has moveable legs (see photos) so he can sit down when he gets tired from trotting around town!
Moondance is NOT a toy, he is for decoration only.
As Moondance is unique I will send Royal Mail First Class signed for.
Please note the gypsy caravan is NOT included in your purchase.
