Full description
This solid acorn pendant is made with your loved ones or pet ashes set into copper and silver.
The ashes are added into the copper 'clay' (acorn) and then become part of the pendant itself, then a thick layer of pure 99% silver clay is molded over the top to give a thick layer of silver rather than a thin plating like that is often found on jewellery.
A protector lacquer is added over the top once the piece is finished so that the copper stays the same colour and doesn't naturally tarnish, sometimes leaving a black mark on the skin. If you would not like this adding and you want the copper to naturally darken over time, then please send me a message along with your purchase.
The bail and chain are made in sterling silver. The chain is an 18-inch long curb chain, and the chain can be cleaned with silver cleaning cloths or silver dip.
Each piece has its very own uniqueness to it.
Please rest assured that no one else handles ashes sent to me for your jewellery. I make each piece myself in my home studio, with the utmost care and attention.
All items come gift wrapped in a beautiful velvet pouch and card box with tissue paper.
