This unique bracelet is made up of beads from Africa. There are some rare old trade beads sent out from Venice between the 1880s and 1920s. These would have been used as currency at that time. There are some modern black clay beads from Mali and some 'lost wax' brass beads from Ghana. Each brass bead has been made from an individual clay mould, which is destroyed when the brass is poured in - which means that each bead is unique.
Please be aware that the millefiori (a thousand flowers) trade beads have 'lived rough' for over a century and bear the scars of their journey. You may find small chips which speak of their well travelled history and in no way detract from their beauty today. Likewise, the contemporary beads are not factory made so each one has its own quirkiness.
Size: The bracelet has an internal measurement of 8.5 inches so will fit a large man's wrist.
Presentation: Your bracelet will be sent with a presentation bag, inside a mailing box.
Gifts: I can send to another address and include a handwritten message if requested.
Postage: I can usually post within 24 hours and will send by 1st class, signed for mail.
