Colours and movement inspire my picture weaves, so it's no surprise that seascapes are one of my favourite subjects. This weave is more abstract as I wanted to capture the movement of the waves, and I added the seagulls to help give the picture more context in the background.

Full description
This is one of my smaller wall hangings, an abstract design inspired by the colour and movement of sea and waves. The sky in the distance is scattered with seagulls to draw the eye into the composition. I've used a mix of yarns and some macrame cord to vary texture and colour. Measurements: Dowel length: 16 inches and length from top of dowel to bottom of fringe is 22 inches.
