Item details

My love of sheep, particularly Herdwicks, with their lovely faces. We live in Yorkshire and when we travel back to my hometown of Manchester, via the M62, we see the herds at Stott Hall Farm.

Full description

This little sheep is made up of paper, cotton, and glue, then finished with chalk paint and wax. The egg was carefully broken and cleaned, before being covered in layers of gluey paper, primed, and finished in duck egg blue chalk paint with brown specking (painted gold inside).

Dimensions

8cm x 5cm

My assemblage art pieces are hand made with patience and love - they often take weeks to complete, and made for decoration only (they may have sharp edges and small components, so should be kept out of the reach of children).

Designed by Marie Powers in West Yorkshire
