Full description
A bespoke lampwork necklace in pink, blue and purple hues. The glass bird was created by melting opaque and transparent glass rods (using a specialised flamework torch) onto a mandrel and then shaping into a little bird. The main body of the bird has been encased in transparent glass for depth.
The pendant has been added onto a handmade sterling silver headpin and comes in a gift box with a 16 inch sterling silver chain.
COE 104 glass has been used to create the lampwork birds.
The lampwork beads have been kiln annealed to relieve any internal stresses that may have formed during the melting process and thus increase the overall durability and strength. However, please note that whilst the bead has been kiln annealed they are still delicate due to the nature of glass.
Most items will be sent via 2nd Class unless stated otherwise. If you require an urgent delivery, please let me know and I can send it via an alternative mail service at an additional cost.
