Hello and welcome to my shop.
I've always loved making things and worked as a Graphic Designer for over twenty years. Nowadays I experiment with fabric, paints, embroidery, beads and collage. I particularly enjoy combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, unique mixed media pieces.

Full description
A long-tailed tit is sitting among the Spring blossom. A lovely, unique gift for a nature lover or anyone who enjoys watching the birds in their garden.
This little artwork features a textile print of vintage painting of a long-tailed tit. I've created the scene using sections of batik and cotton fabrics, some of which I've tinted with acrylic paints and inks. The fabrics have been layered and sewn by hand and I've used embroidery threads and seed beads to add details and texture.
The artwork comes in a good quality double mount that measures 8 x 6 inches on the outside with an inside aperture of 3.75 x 5.75 inches. The picture has been signed on the reverse.
I've made a matching tag in case you're sending it as a gift.
