This warm, orange-red stone is a variety of Chalcedony, a member of the Quartz family.
Used as an adornment by man for over 4,500 years, this stone has come to symbolise health, luck and royalty.
It was prescribed by ancient healers to 'invigorate the blood'.
It is considered a birthstone for July and Cancer, as an alternative to Ruby.

Full description
This striking necklace features a beautiful, polished, 1.25 inch (3cm) Carnelian donut, wrapped in copper wire and set between 8mm Carnelian round beads.
The necklace then graduates to 6mm and 4mm Grey Agate and Carnelian beads, embellished with 3mm beads of pure copper for extra shine.
The Carnelian beads are a beautiful, sunset orange while the Agate beads are a soft, dove grey.
The necklace finishes with an easy-to-fasten copper toggle clasp.
This pretty piece measures approximately 16 inches (41cm), excluding the donut.
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in an organza gift bag.
The price includes delivery within the UK.
