The colour is inspired by the beautiful golden yellow sunsets that are a regular feature across the bay behind our house. The idea for my light pull pendants came while I was refurbishing Clairdale, our old croft cottage here on Sanday, one of the Orkney isles, and they all reflect the nature of our home, it's surroundings and the gentle pace of life up here.

Full description
This gold coloured bathroom light pull pendant, made in Orkney, and has 600mm of bright yellow cord already fitted. The soft yellow colour of the pendant is created by the gold colour of the mica powder I mixed in the resin, before moulding it to form a rectangular block. I then turn this block to shape on my lathe. I have shaped this pendant to have gentle rounded ends and parallel cylindrical sides, and the semi-transparent resin allows light to shine through into the pendant, enhancing its colour and allowing the gold mica powder to form a marbled effect. It can be used in any room which has a suitable switch. The pendant is 85mm long and 17mm wide, and postage is included in the price.
Designed by Brian Case in the peaceful island of Sanday, Orkney
