Apple Tree Ornament
The apple tree decoration is handmade by me, from scraps of dressmaking fabrics. Appliqued onto a cotton backing which I've hand coloured and painted, and then machine embroidered before finally adding hand embroidered details. The front design then has a metal support glued to it before the whole thing is carefully hand stitched onto a felt backing panel to finish.
Mounted onto a 3cm wooden cube, this little tree ornament is perfect for your mantlepiece or as a gift for a green fingered and allotment loving friend. The wooden blocks are lightly sanded but left with a rustic, unfinished look.
Due to the handmade and handcut nature of this item, the shaping is asymmetrical and in some places, slightly wonky. Each item I make is unique and these little ornaments are no exception.
This little ornament will be sent in a cellophane envelope to protect it, before being boxed for postage. I use the Royal Mail signed for service.
This ornament stands 13cm tall (approximately)
The Apple tree panel itself measures 6.5cm x 4.5cm approx, and the wooden block is 3cm.
I design, handmade and handstitch all my items in my studio in Fife.
