Ringmaster bag.
Throw a bit of circus inspired fun over your shoulder and celebrate the good times. Made in my signature pyramid bag shape, this time in ringmaster stripes and brights!
My textile art bags are constructed from a self-made fabric. I make these fabrics from off cuts and trimmings, and add decorative stitching and yarn features, often crocheting chains in interesting textures and colours. Zoom in on the photos for details.
Ringmaster is beautifully made and utilises fabrics that would otherwise go to landfill.
The shoulder strap and backing is a crisp and brisk striped cotton furnishing fabric - an offcut from a curtain maker. Ringmaster fastens with a simple crochet loop and a vintage brown leather button, and is fully lined in ivory polycotton.

Height in centre - 22cm
Strap - 4.5cm x 75cm long - this strap is not adjustable.
