Full description
This magnificent deer stag has been needle felted using woollen fibres and a barbed felting needle. This stag has been sculpted from core wool and then a top coat of woollen fibres in appropriate colours has been added. His legs are formed over a wire armature to aid strength and stability. The antlers are formed from hand painted silk clay and the hooves from epoxy resin. The stag has been mounted on an oval wooden slice covered with artificial grass material.
The stag (including base) measures approximately 20cm (8") long x 23cm (10") tall.
This is an ornamental sculpture, not intended as a toy.
