Full description

A hand stamped antique silverplated dessertspoon handstamped with the words YES. I DID JUST GIVE YOU AN OLD SPOON FOR XMAS. DEAL WITH IT. It's a serviceable but somewhat tarnished spoon with a monogrammed handle, measuring approximately 18.5cm long. A great joke present for winding up an entitled teenager or getting back at someone who always says their presents are rubbish! (Whether or not you then give them anything else is up to you!)

This listing is for ONE spoon. You will receive the spoon shown in the photographs. The lettering is coloured with a non-toxic and waterbased acrylic ink. Wash carefully by hand as the colour is not indestructible - the lettering, however, is stamped into the metal and should last pretty much as long as the spoon does.

Please note this is a vintage metal alloy spoon (I think from the 1940s) so it has scratches, dings, tarnish and wear marks in accordance with its age. This spoon has been around a bit and has character. It's a survivor. If you were looking for a mirror-finished brand new spoon, this isn't one. But then that is kind of the point...
