I loved the provenance of this box with the handwritten “Stamps’ on the top and the “Birchfield Road Handicraft Centre - Nov 14 1928” printed inside. The simple edging seemed to compliment the beauty of the box while giving it a contemporary feel.

Full description
An attractive vintage hinged wooden box from 1928 with the word “Stamps’ handwritten in ink on the top. Painted pastel yellow, blue, pink & peach trim with a light, matt varnish. Suitable for desktop storage, small jewellery items or baby keepsakes.
This item can be customised on request with a name or initials at no extra cost.
