Citrine is the yellow form of Quartz, and gets its colour from traces of iron in the Quartz.
Natural Citrine is usually a pale lemon colour - deeper yellow and orange-yellow stones are generally produced by heat-treating Amethyst.
These untreated stones have a pale lemon colour and excellent, almost luminous clarity.
Citrine is the birthstone for November and Scorpio.
It is thought to bring happiness and abundance, to absorb and ground all negative energy and replace it with positive energy.
Known as the 'merchant's stone', Citrine is believed to attract wealth and good fortune.

This sparkly necklace features beautiful, genuine Citrine nuggets set between sparkly faceted glass beads.
The Citrine oval nuggets are a translucent pale yellow, measuring approximately 7-10mm.
They have gorgeous, almost luminous clarity.
The glass beads are 3x2mm faceted rondelles with an electroplated coating that gives them a very sparkly, slightly metallic appearance.They are a neutral, mink-brown colour with flashes of purple and gold in the light.
The necklace fastens with a Tibetan style rose toggle clasp with an antique gold finish.
This clasp is nickel and lead free.
A beautiful, glittering necklace that measures approximately 17 inches (43cm).
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
