When I first designed these dragons I called them Bookwyrms . The old smaller version was originally designed to be corded bookmarks, but the little Viking dragons turned out to be more popular as jewellery. The shape of the dragon is inspired by the Viking Jellinge style of art, with its long sinuous curves, shapes and spirals, a style that seemed to be strangely suited for the blacksmith to create.
The shape is entirely forged, gently touched up and decorated by a file and the eyes created by my own made ring & dot punch.

Full description
This expressive little dragon pendant has been inspired by Viking art. The dragon has been intricately forged and decorated by hand. It has a antique bronze colour finish, protected from rust and wear by two layers of metal sealant.
The dragon pendant is suspended onto an adjustable leather necklace, allowing you to decide how long you want the necklace to be.
I exclusively use pure iron in our forged ironwork, sourced exclusively from the UK.

Each dragon is hand forged to order. Upon request I can photograph your pendant on completion.
