I love nature and enjoy making lampwork glass birds. It was an honour to make a custom listing.

Full description
Custom listing. A bespoke jewellery set featuring a pair of lampwork glass bird earrings and necklace. The glass birds are made by melting opaque and transparent glass rods (using a specialised flamework torch) onto a mandrel and shaping them into little birds. Each lampwork bird is individually handmade so they may vary slightly in appearance and size from one another. The birds resonate a summer vibe featuring blue, purple, pink and white hues.
The pendant has been added onto a handmade sterling silver headpin and comes in a gift box with a 16 inch sterling silver twisted chain. The earrings have also been added onto handmade sterling headpins and 0.8mm diameter sterling silver wire hooks.
COE 104 glass has been used to create the lampwork birds. The birds approximately measure 2.5 cm in length and 1 cm in height (at the highest point)
The lampwork beads have been kiln annealed to relieve any internal stresses that may have formed during the melting process and thus increase the overall durability and strength. However, please note that whilst the beads have been kiln annealed they are still delicate due to the nature of glass.
