Full description
A bespoke lampwork glass pendant featuring a little robin mooching on a snowy winter's day. A unique gift for somebody who loves nature and snowy winters.
The background for the lampwork bead was created first by carefully melting layers of white, pearl grey and sky blue glass before shaping in a special press. The little robin was then added by melting smaller layers of glass and shaping with each addition of glass.
The pendant has been added onto a handmade sterling silver headpin and comes in a gift box with a 16 inch sterling silver chain.
COE 104 glass has been used to create the glass pendant.
The lampwork bead has been annealed in the kiln to relieve internal stresses that may have formed during the melting process and thus increase the overall durability and strength. However, please note that whilst the bead has been kiln annealed it is still delicate due to the nature of glass.
Most items will be sent via 2nd Class unless stated otherwise. If you require an urgent delivery, please let me know and I can send it via an alternative mail service at an additional cost.
