Bamboo Coral is a deep sea coral that is naturally a light brown colour, resembling bamboo.
It is dyed for the jewellery trade, usually a deep red to resemble the rare Red Coral.
In ancient times Coral was thought to have the power to protect the wearer against evil and enchantments,
Roman children wore coral necklaces to protect them from danger and keep them healthy.
Coral is the traditional gift for the 35th wedding anniversary.
I source my Coral beads from a reputable supplier, who is a member of the UK National Association of Jewellers.

Full description
A striking necklace of hematite beads in an array of sizes and shapes, given colour contrast by the inclusion of red bamboo coral and sparkle from red Swarovski crystals.
The larger crystals are a colour called light siam shimmer, the smaller are scarlet.
Tiny ruby coloured glass seed beads add emphasis.
Finished with a black metal toggle clasp that is nickel and lead free.
This necklace measures approximately 17 3/4 inches (45cm).
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a pretty gift bag.
