Winsor and Newton watercolour on Winsor and Newton watercolour paper.
This is a lively line and wash wastercolour of the most famous street in York, the Shambles. It is a beautifully restored medieval street in the middle of York shopping area and is a must see when visiting the historic city.
I kept the composition as simple as I could for this one and concentrated all the colour near the front for the most impact.
