Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! I've been making for others since 2013 and if you'd like to see what my customers have said about my work since then (before I opened up here on Folksy), you can read more than 1,000 reviews on my web site: http://www.thecrimsonrabbit.co.uk/ (click 'Reviews' on the bar at the top of the page).
In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation if a shipping price isn't shown against an item you're interested in. Please note that all US shipping prices shown DO NOT include tracking. If you'd like your package sent with tracking, please message me for a quotation.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'Tracked 24' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.

For years, I had my set of interchangeable needle tips, cables and the bits that go with them, in the cheap and nasty flat plastic case they were in when I bought them. I finally decided that it was time to make a proper bag and get organised, which was where the original design for this bag came from. It took me a few attempts to get the bag exactly as I wanted it, with the right features in the right places and everything to the right dimensions, but I'm pretty confident now that my design will work for most knitters. I truthfully didn't intend to be able to keep my roll of DPNs in that bag as well, but I figured that it was an awesome coincidence that they fit in there perfectly and, as I didn't have a proper bag or case for those either at the time, what a win!
I can make one of these bags in most of the fabrics you see in my shop, as long as I have enough of it to hand - just get in touch to check what's possible.

This bag is made with a whimsical print called Moon Stories from Maureen Cracknell, featuring a couple of moon gazing hares. To make the fine cotton fabric a little more durable, I interface it with a woven cotton, before partnering it with Robert Kaufman's Essex linen in a copper shade with gold metallic. I then add another layer of interfacing to the whole, before adding a layer of fleece for a soft squishiness. The bag is lined with the same Essex Linen and the slip pockets and zip pocket with a gold coloured cotton, which features in the main print.
The bag has 2 sets of slip pockets for tips. One is 2.5" / 6.25cm tall and the other is 3.5" / 9cm - perfect for both short and longer tips. Each pocket has 11 slots - 5 for the slimmer tips, 5 for the fatter ones and, finally, a larger slot that you can use for your really chubby tips, or maybe for other notions or tools you like to keep together with your tips. Above the shorter pocket, there's also a generously sized zip pocket, perfect for keys, connectors and end caps to be tucked away safely. You can see the dimensions of the bag in last photo. The first photo shows all the accessories that will fit into the bag as well as your interchangeables, with more room to spare. Please note that the height of the bag allows for storage of standard length tips of 5". If your tips are longer, please send me a custom request and I'll make a taller bag for you (also if you have specific needs for the slot sizes).
