Opal is the birthstones for October and Libra
Here I have used nuggets of pink opal.
Pink opal is a variety of common opal, composed of opal, palygorskite and chalcedony.
The opal gives a soft lustre, palygorskite gives the pink colour and chalcedony adds patterns of grey-black.
Rose quartz represents Venus, Libra's planetary ruler.

Full description
Polished, rough cut Pink Opal nuggets, set between a trio of 4mm sparkly Swarovski crystal bicones in the colours 'ruby', 'white opal' and 'light rose' form the centrepiece of this pale pink necklace.
A mix of frosted and smooth 6mm rose Quartz beads are given a pop of colour by another trio of Swarovski bicones.
Each trio of Swarovski crystals is highlighted with a pair of 2mm micro-faceted Rose Quartz beads.
The necklace graduates to 4mm frosted and smooth rose quartz, and fastens with a rose toggle clasp.
The clasp has an antique gold finish, and is nickel and lead free.
This necklace measures approximately 16.5 inches.
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in pretty organza gift bag.
