All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.

Why is this necklace in the seconds sale?
Well, I used to have my pieces hallmarked with a stamp hallmark, the trouble is where it had been stamped is visible on the other side. The silver on that area is very thin so had been worried about trying to remove the bump may go through the other side and create holes and then loose the hallmark to!
I now have my pieces hallmarked by laser which means no extra work removing the bumps on the other side of the hallmark!
The sterling silver chain necklace measures 57cm in length.
The domed moon pendant measures 2.3cm in diameter.
