All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.

I love mismatched earrings and the moon. I had been making a pair of crescent moon and full moon studs for quite a few years, and had been really popular, so felt the time was right for a sleeper hoop version, for a little dangly joy.

Full description
A tiny full moon and tiny crescent moon have been handmade from recycled sterling silver and given a texture formed by hammering the silver against concrete. The 'craters' of the moons have been oxidised to create a more lunar like look.
The full height from top of the creole hoops to bottom of the moons is 2.9cm. The hoops have a diameter of 1.8cm, the moons on their own, not including the rings is 1cm.
The moon charms can be easily slid off, so that you wear the hoops on their own.
Can take between 2 - 5 days before being dispatched. Posted by Special delivery (this service does require a signature). Packaged in a small stud earring box finished with ribbon.
