Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! I've been making for others since 2013 and if you'd like to see what my customers have said about my work since then (before I opened up here on Folksy), you can read more than 1,000 reviews on my web site: http://www.thecrimsonrabbit.co.uk/ (click 'Reviews' on the bar at the top of the page).
In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation if a shipping price isn't shown against an item you're interested in. Please note that all US shipping prices shown DO NOT include tracking. If you'd like your package sent with tracking, please message me for a quotation.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'Tracked 24' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.
I'm more active on Instagram than anywhere else: https://www.instagram.com/the_crimson_rabbit/ but you can always find me online elsewhere: my blog is here: www.thecrimsonrabbit.co.uk, my facebook page here: www.facebook.com/thecrimsonrabbitpage and my Pinterest addiction is evidenced here: http://www.pinterest.com/crimsonrabbit/

This little hat has been make to sell to raise money for one of my favourite charities - Heathlands Animal Sanctuary. All proceeds will be donated to them to help save small animals and dogs, just like our Border Collie Jess, who they saved for us!
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

This vintage style Pixie hat was made using a pattern by Tin Can Knits, called 'Beloved'. I've knit it using a yarn made with a speckled 100% superwash merino wool, which is lovely and warm as well as very soft. The design means that there are no seams anywhere on the hat that could make baby uncomfortable - they are knit from the bottom of one of the integral ties, over each side and down to the bottom of the other tie.
When totally relaxed and not stretched at all, the hat has a diameter of 17.75" or 45cm so it's perfect for a baby and will certainly stretch quite a bit more than that. I've shown the front, back, side on a form and flat side of the hat in the photos and you can see that the back has a ribbed edge that ensures a snug fit around the back of baby's head.
