I found this pattern in an old book from the 70's and thought it ideal for using some bright yarn I had.

Full description
This jumper is hand knitted in a soft baby yarn.
The body is worked in red with stripes in a green and white fair isle pattern. The sleeves are in green with a red stripe at the cuff. It fastens on the shoulder with three white buttons.
The yarn is 55% nylon 45% acrylic and is machine washable.
I used a pattern from the '70's and I made the size for a 6 month old baby. The jumper is intended to be quite generous and it measures 56cm round the chest, 26 cm in length and the sleeve is 16cm.
