G'Day and welcome to my shop of jewellery delights! Due to the new EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) rules coming into force from 13 December, I will no longer be shipping to any EU country, which also includes Northern Ireland after this date. Although I ensure all the components I use in my jewellery are safe for consumers, I don't think my business can afford the EU agent that is required.
LAST POSTING DATES: UK - 14 DEC; REST OF WORLD - 1 DEC. Please note, I'm happy to post items after these dates, but delivery speeds can be reduced due to large volume of Christmas post, so Royal Mail cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas.

This particular 100% cotton fabric has deep red, green and mustard yellow hues and was taken from an original design from a pattern book held in the V & A archives called 'Persian', designed by John Henry Dearle in 1904.
Dearle was Art Director of Morris & Co after the death of Morris in 1896 and he took inspiration from Morris' earlier work of swirling and intertwined foliage and flowers and also in Turkish and Persian art - hence this Persian inspired design from 1904.

Celebrate the festive and winter season with this delightful fabric button brooch in red and green.
Created from a William Morris pattern – called Persian – it is part of the Moda Morris Holiday fabric collection and features gorgeous rich colours and gold metallic line detail.
For this brooch, I’ve selected a section of a large flower, the centre shades of red, surrounded by green foliage on a cream background. Most of the design is decorated with gold metallic line art, that just shines!
From this flower pattern, I have created a 28mm fabric covered flat backed button, then secured a birch plywood wooden disc to the reverse of the button. I’ve simply sealed the wood with specialist microcrystalline wax to let the natural grain of the wood shine through. I have secured a gold plated brooch back with safety clasp. The brooch back is nickel, cadmium and lead free.
As the brooch measures just under 3cm, it is an ideal accessory for a jacket, jumper or blouse - or even on a bag!
