Full description
A handstamped vintage silver plated spoon to put in the neck of your sparkling wine bottle - apparently this keeps the bubbles bubbly for longer although I've never had leftovers for long enough to do a proper test! I've hand stamped 'KEEP YOUR SH-T SPARKLY' in black lettering in the bowl along with a pair of glasses and assorted bubbles, asterisks and hearts. It's a pointy grapefruit spoon measuring approximately 5 1/2" (14cm) long and has a nice little floral and rope twist detail on the handle.
This would make a fun little gift for a celebration... for anyone who loves their fizz!
This listing is for ONE spoon. You'll receive the one shown in the photos. The lettering is coloured with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink. Wash carefully by hand as the colour is not indestructible - the lettering, however, is stamped into the metal and should last pretty much as long as the spoon does.
Please note this is a vintage spoon so it has hairline scratches, tarnish, flaws and wear marks in the plating, particularly on the back of the bowl. This spoon has been around a bit and has character. It's a survivor. If you were looking for a mirror-finished brand new spoon, this isn't one. Just so you know. It is shinier than my photos make it look, though.
