The white rabbit - Alice in wonderland
I really wanted to make a collectable doll with movable joints, so i have created
this fellow with exactly that, he is a flat bottomed piece so he sits on a shelf or table with ease.
Machine and hand stitiched he is also stained to look aged and hand painted. He has a
cream vintage lace with a teal velvet ribbon laid on top and around his flat bottomed edge. Each joint has a 1930s shirt button part of a collection of bits an bobs i have sourced over the years.
His Elizabethan style ruffle is darted with tiny sequins, pinned to his chest is wee pocket watch ( a broken preloved item found at a vintage market). He carries a magic bauble filled with star wishes and a rusty bell for summoning faery friends. On his head is a mini metal crown with jewel embellishments (for he is both majestical and magical).
A perfect gift for you or someone you love to pop on a shelf or mantle.

25cm approx while sitting
N.B This is a collectable doll and is not a toy so is unsuitable for small children.
