Full description
This is one of my unique hand embroidery pictures based on fairy tales. This represents the story of the tortoise and the hare. It is entirely freehand and I enjoy building up the layers with embroidery.
The background is from a remnant of a black furnishing textile. As I buy fabrics as and when I see them I’m not always certain of exact fibre content.
The picture has been attached to mount board and has a contrasting coffee mount. It measures 18 cm by 23 cm (7 inches by 9 inches) and is ready for you to put into your own frame to match your decor.
